WELCOME

Changing the culture around dying, death, grief and bereavement through educating and inspiring the next generation of healthcare professionals.

About Us

A Dose of Grief was established by Paris and Isabelle in 2024 with the aim to increase the death literacy of the healthcare workforce. We envision a healthcare profession that is emboldened to support patients, their families, and one another to reduce stigma and to cultivate discussions around the death, dying and grieving processes.

Here we have compiled a range of resources designed to assist doctors and medical students.

These resources include: insights into end-of-life care, palliative strategies, ethical considerations, grief support, and practical tools to navigate the complexities of this profound aspect of patient care.

A Dose of Grief acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we live, work and grow, the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation. We celebrate the diversity of Aboriginal peoples and their ongoing connection to culture and contributions to both healthcare and deathcare.
